We’re heading to Greece.. a little catch up

We arrived in Athens on October 18 and moved into our apartment located in the Psyrri neighborhood just northeast of the Acropolis, less than 5 minute walk to Monastiraki Square. In the neighborhood we predominantly hear Greek and although it is not as touristy (at least for Americans) there are a plethora of good restaurants, funky second-hand shops, and active businesses. Our address is Avliton 9 right next door to bustling Atlantikos seafood restaurant. The street is so narrow our taxi from the airport dropped us at the corner with profuse apologies. In about a half an hour we can walk to Syntagma Square and the Parliament building in the Plaka neighborhood or to Velos Youth in Exarchia. We can be at the foot of the Acropolis in about 15 minutes.
