Velos draws us back...2024

We returned to Velos Youth Centre in 2024. They are busy with many new arrivals. Now we know that becoming a welcoming, non-judgmental set of ears and cutthroat Uno players might be our biggest strength.

We continued to look for ways to make the lives of staff and young people more comfortable. From small things such as regularly bringing in fresh fruit to renovating the terrace with more plants, we looked for enhancements that Velos could not afford or have time to do themselves.
